Resources - Local Training Options

These are my recommended clubs and trainers in or near west Michigan. These are all people, clubs, or facilities I have had personal experience with and am comfortable recommending.

Fly By Night Flyball club (meets at various locations around Grand Rapids)
U-Fli flyball training and team competition for all breeds and levels. All of our members also actively train and compete with dogs in other dog sports.

Rustic Retreat Lodge for Dogs - Josh Markow
Boarding, board-and-train, training, and IPO training group. Josh has years of experience training working breed dogs and has competed in the IPO WUSV (World Championships).

Driven Dog Training - Mel Pellerito
Agility training from beginner to advanced competition. Many of Mel's students have trained and titled in multiple venues of agility and have qualified for and competed at CPE Nationals. Classes, drop-in, or private instruction available at various west Michigan locations.

Whiskers University
Various levels of pet and competitive obedience and a wide variety of dog sports including agility, flyball, and obedience. Located in southest Grand Rapids.

Training classes, behavior, private lessons & consultations, and stay-and-train options in the greater Lansing area.

Run Riot Flyball club
Competitive flyball team based in west Michigan.

Schutzhund training in Hudson, MI.
